Getting There

Walking
Start from the Center of Amara, near the main market area. Head southeast along Al-Hussein Street until you reach the intersection with Al-Jazeera Street. Turn left onto Al-Jazeera Street and continue straight for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several local shops and cafes along the way. Once you reach the end of Al-Jazeera Street, you will find the Corniche of the Sabian Mandaean Temple located near the Al-Orouba Bridge. It will be on your right side, just before the bridge.

If you are near Al-Nasr Park, exit the park and head southwest towards Al-Jazeera Street. Once you reach Al-Jazeera Street, turn right and continue along the street for about 500 meters. You will see the Corniche of the Sabian Mandaean Temple just before the Al-Orouba Bridge on your left.

From the Amara City Hall, walk north towards Al-Hussein Street. Turn right onto Al-Hussein Street and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Al-Jazeera Street. Turn left and continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you see the Al-Orouba Bridge. The Corniche of the Sabian Mandaean Temple will be located nearby on your right as you approach the bridge.
