If you are in central Baghdad, start at Tahrir Square. From Tahrir Square, head northwest towards Al-Mutanabbi Street, a famous street known for its bookshops. Continue on Al-Mutanabbi Street until you reach the intersection with Al-Nasr Street. Turn right onto Al-Nasr Street and walk straight for about 1 km. You will pass several local shops and eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for the large roundabout ahead. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Abu Nuwas Street and continue walking for approximately 800 meters. You will start to see the نصب المسيرة (Nasb Al-Masira) ahead on your left, located near the Al-Alawee area.
