Walking
If you are in central Baghdad, start at Tahrir Square. From Tahrir Square, head northwest towards Al-Mutanabbi Street, a famous street known for its bookshops. Continue on Al-Mutanabbi Street until you reach the intersection with Al-Nasr Street. Turn right onto Al-Nasr Street and walk straight for about 1 km. You will pass several local shops and eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for the large roundabout ahead. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Abu Nuwas Street and continue walking for approximately 800 meters. You will start to see the نصب المسيرة (Nasb Al-Masira) ahead on your left, located near the Al-Alawee area.
Public Transport - Bus
From Tahrir Square, locate the nearest bus stop. Board a bus heading towards the Al-Alawee area. Make sure to ask the driver or locals if the bus stops near نصب المسيرة. Once you arrive at the designated stop, disembark and walk towards نصب المسيرة, which should be visible from the bus stop. The walk should take about 10 minutes.
Taxi (shared or private)
If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Baghdad. Simply tell the driver 'نصب المسيرة' and they will know the location. If you are unfamiliar with the local language, you can show them the written name or the coordinates (33.326352, 44.3841118). The taxi will drop you off close to the monument, and you can walk the last few steps.
