ام البروم: A Garden Oasis in Basrah

Located in the heart of Basrah, ام البروم (Em Al-Burum) is a lush garden that provides a tranquil retreat from the city's vibrant life. Initially named King Ghazi Garden, extending to the Al-Khandaq River, it was later renamed Al-Shaab Garden (People's Garden). Unfortunately, construction and urban sprawl led to the garden's decline, replaced by municipal garages and a telecommunications building.
