    If driving from Erbil, take the Erbil to Soran road (Route 1) and follow the signs to Rawanduz. The journey is approximately 70 km and takes about 1.5 hours. Once you reach Rawanduz, look for signs leading to Bekhal Waterfalls. The last part of the route is a scenic drive through the mountains. Parking is available near the waterfalls, with fees typically ranging from 1,000 to 5,000 IQD.

  • Public Transport

    To reach Bekhal Waterfalls via public transport from Erbil, take a shared taxi or minibus from the main taxi station to Soran. The fare is around 3,000 IQD. From Soran, catch another shared taxi to Rawanduz for about 1,000 IQD. Upon arrival in Rawanduz, hire a local taxi to Bekhal Waterfalls for approximately 10,000 IQD. Alternatively, from Rawanduz bus station, a shared taxi or minibus towards Bekhal Waterfalls will cost around 1,500 IQD.
