From the center of Duhok, begin walking towards دوران دهوك (Duhok Square). From the square, proceed along شارع 21 (21st Street) heading north. Continue until you reach the intersection with Sendore Way Road, then turn left. Continue for approximately 1.5 km on Sendore Way Road; the cave entrance will be on your right. There are no entrance fees or tolls for accessing the cave.
Public Transport
From central Duhok, locate a local bus that travels towards the northern part of the city, asking locals for the bus heading to Sendore or a nearby area. Alight at a bus stop close to Sendore Way Road. From there, walk along Sendore Way Road for about 500 meters. Look out for signs directing you to كهف جارستين, which will be on your right. Bus fares within the city are typically around 500 IQD. There are no additional fees to access the cave.
Taxi
From anywhere in Duhok, you can hire a taxi to كهف جارستين. A 5km taxi ride in Duhok will cost approximately 12.1 USD. Ask the driver to take you to Sendore Way Road; the cave entrance will be on your right. There are no parking fees or tolls.
