From the Erbil Citadel, head southeast. Walk along main roads, using landmarks such as the Municipality One area as a guide. The walk is approximately 2-3 kilometers and should take around 30-45 minutes.

From Erbil City Center, take a local bus heading towards the Municipality One area. You can catch a bus from the major bus station near the Erbil Citadel. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Sheikh Joli Street. From there, walk about 200 meters down Sheikh Joli Street, and you will find Bakhi Shar Park on the left. Bus fare is approximately 500 IQD.
