Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Kirkuk, head south towards the main thoroughfare, Al-Quds Street (شارع القدس). Continue walking along Al-Quds Street for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Al-Hawija Street (شارع الحويجة). Turn left onto Al-Hawija Street and walk for about 1 kilometer. After you pass by the Kirkuk Museum on your right, keep walking straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the road leading towards Klawqut. Follow this road for approximately 3 kilometers. You will see signs directing you towards Qalaqut قەلاقوت. Continue walking until you reach the area marked with the coordinates JJJ9+5R, Klawqut, Kirkuk Governorate.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  Starting from the main bus station in Kirkuk, take a bus heading towards Klawqut. The fare is usually low, so be sure to have small change available. Inform the driver of your destination, Qalaqut قەلاقوت. The bus will take you along a route that typically takes about 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Klawqut, disembark at the nearest stop to the center of the village. From there, you can walk approximately 1 kilometer towards the coordinates JJJ9+5R, where Qalaqut is located. Follow the signs or ask locals for assistance if needed.

• Bicycle

  If you are renting a bicycle in Kirkuk, start by heading south towards Al-Quds Street (شارع القدس). Continue on this road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Al-Hawija Street (شارع الحويجة). Turn left onto Al-Hawija Street and cycle for about 1 kilometer. After passing the Kirkuk Museum, keep going straight to the roundabout. Take the second exit at the roundabout onto the road leading to Klawqut. Cycle for approximately 3 kilometers, following any directional signs toward Qalaqut قەلاقوت. Once you reach the area marked JJJ9+5R, you will find your destination.
