If you are traveling by car from Erbil, head northeast on the Erbil-Duhok road (Route 1). Follow signs for Halgurd Mountain. After about 60 km, turn left towards the Halgurd Mountain area and continue for another 20 km to the parking area near the mountain's base. The drive takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
