The makerspace within Mosul Space is a dynamic workshop equipped with 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC machines, hand tools, and electronics, facilitating prototype development and fabrication.Mosul Space plays a crucial role in supporting youth and the entrepreneurial ecosystem by providing consultancy, mentorship, capacity building, and networking opportunities. It serves as a collaborative community where freelancers, service providers, and potential clients connect, fostering an inclusive atmosphere that inspires innovation. Over 10,000 young people have participated in its programs, trainings, workshops, and events, with over 5,000 trainees completing more than 150 training sessions in technology and business. More than 100 startups have been launched through Mosul Space's activities, leading to over 400 youths securing jobs in the private sector.Mosul Space has also contributed to the community by repairing broken medical devices in Nineveh, utilizing its makerspace to 3D-print spare parts needed for devices damaged during the ISIS conflict.
