Car

From the center of Duhok, head east on Gulan Street towards the Duhok River. Continue to the roundabout and take the second exit onto Sendore Way Road. Follow this road for approximately 10 kilometers, where you will see signs directing you to Charsteen Cave. Parking areas are available along the roadside near the cave entrance. Parking may be free or have a nominal fee.

The cave's architectural style, unique among Zoroastrian temples, includes a square window that brings in sunlight.Recent restoration efforts have transformed Charsteen Cave into an accessible tourist site, with a new access road, lighting, and informational signage. Visitors can explore the winding passages, marvel at the stalactites and stalagmites, and enjoy hiking trails with views of the Duhok region. The cave also holds historical significance as a refuge for ancient civilizations.
