    From Achill Sound, follow the R319 towards Keel village. Continue on the main road until you reach Keel. At the bottom of the village, after the Minaun View Pub/petrol station, turn right. Follow the road for approximately 2km. Parking is available at the main beach car park and alternative areas throughout the village. Parking is free.

    From Westport, take Bus Éireann route 450 to Achill Island. The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours to Keel. The bus stop in Keel is a short walk to Keel Beach. A single fare from Westport to Keel ranges from €5-€8.

  • Walking

    From Keel village, Keel Beach is easily accessible by foot. Follow the main road towards the coast. The beach is a short walk from the village center.
