    The primary way to reach Inisheer is by ferry. Ferries operate from Doolin in County Clare (seasonally, April to October) and Rossaveal near Galway City (year-round). From Doolin, the ferry journey is approximately 15-30 minutes. From Rossaveal, the ferry takes about 40-55 minutes, with a shuttle service available from Galway city. A round trip ferry ticket from Doolin costs approximately €32 for an adult. From Rossaveal, ferry tickets are also around €32. It is recommended to book in advance, especially during the summer months.

    Upon arrival at Inisheer Pier, most attractions are within walking distance. The main village, beach, and several historical sites are a short stroll from the pier. For those wishing to explore further, walking trails are well-marked. Walking is free.
