From Athlone town center, Riverdale House B&B is approximately a 10-15 minute walk. Head south from the Athlone Town Centre towards the River Shannon. Cross the bridge and continue along the Clonown Road. Riverdale House B&B will be on your left. There are footpaths along the route.

From Athlone Station, take Bus Éireann route A1 towards Bellanamullia. The closest bus stop to Riverdale House B&B is Battery Road. From there, it is a short walk to the B&B. A single fare on Bus Éireann within Athlone costs approximately €2-€3, and you can use a TFI Leap Card.

Riverdale House is ideally situated a short walk from Athlone's Left Bank Quarter, the town's cultural hub, home to Athlone Castle, Sean's Bar (one of the oldest pubs in the world), the Dean Crowe Theatre, and various restaurants.
