Getting There

• Walking

  If you're starting from the Athlone Castle, head east towards the River Shannon. Cross the bridge to the other side of the river. Once you reach the opposite side, turn right and walk along the riverfront until you reach the junction with Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street and continue walking for about 5 minutes. Sean's Bar will be on your left at 13 Main St, just past the intersection with Church Street.

• Public Transport

  From Athlone Train Station, exit the station and walk towards the bus stop located just outside. You can take a local bus that heads towards the town center (check the bus schedule for routes that go to Main Street). Get off at the Main Street stop. Once you disembark, walk along Main Street for a short distance, and Sean's Bar will be located on your left at 13 Main St.

• Bicycle

  If you're renting a bicycle in Athlone, head towards the River Shannon and follow the designated bike paths along the river. You can cycle eastward until you reach the junction with Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street and continue cycling for about 5 minutes. Sean's Bar will be on your left at 13 Main St, just after the Church Street intersection.

• Taxi

  If you prefer to take a taxi, simply find a taxi stand or request a taxi through a local taxi service. Provide the driver with the address '13 Main St, Athlone'. The journey should take about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic, and the driver will drop you off right outside Sean's Bar.
