Car
To reach Rathgall Hillfort by car, start from Dublin and take the M11 southbound towards Wexford. Continue on the M11 until you reach exit 21 for Arklow South. Follow the signs for the R772 towards Aughrim. Once in Aughrim, follow the signs for the R747 towards Tinahely. Rathgall Hillfort is located approximately 5km outside of Tinahely. There is a small parking area near the hillfort for visitors to park their cars.
Public Transportation
To reach Rathgall Hillfort by public transportation, take a train from Dublin to Arklow. From Arklow, you can take a bus towards Aughrim and then transfer to a bus heading to Tinahely. Once in Tinahely, you can either walk to Rathgall Hillfort (approximately a 30-minute walk) or take a taxi to reach the hillfort. Please note that public transportation options may be limited, so it is recommended to check schedules in advance.
