From Cork, take Bus Éireann route 231 to Castletownbere. From Castletownbere, take Local Link Cork route 263 to Allihies. From Allihies, you can take a taxi or walk to Dooneen Pier. Alternatively, stay on Local Link Cork route 232 to Kilcrohane , and walk approximately 2km to the pier. A taxi from Allihies to Dooneen Pier would cost approximately €21-€26.
