Dunluce Castle is located off the A2 (Causeway Coastal Route), approximately 2 miles east of Portrush. From Portrush, follow the A2 towards Bushmills/Ballycastle. A small, free car park is available directly outside the castle. If the car park is full, alternative parking is available at Magheracross Car Park, a 10-minute walk away. Parking is free at both locations.

From Portrush, take the Translink bus 402 towards Ballycastle. The bus stops at Whiterocks, a short walk from Dunluce Castle. The bus departs from Dunluce Ave in Portrush. A single fare for a short trip is approximately £3. Alternatively, a taxi from Portrush to Dunluce Castle costs approximately £10-£13.

Walking
It is possible to walk from Portrush to Dunluce Castle along the Causeway Coastal Route (A2). The walk is approximately 3.5 miles and takes about 1 hour and 7 minutes. Follow the East Strand Beach, past Royal Portrush Golf Club and Whiterocks Beach. Then, follow the footpath along the A2, taking in the views from Magheracross View Point. Be aware of traffic on the A2.
