Getting There

  • Car

    From Cliffs of Moher, head northeast on R478 towards Liscannor. Continue on R478 until you reach the junction with N67. Turn right onto N67 and follow the road for about 10 kilometers. Continue on N67 until you reach the junction with N18. Merge onto N18 and follow signs for Galway. Take the exit for R336 towards Salthill and merge onto R336. Continue straight for about 5 kilometers, and you'll arrive at Salthill Prom, a beautiful seaside promenade.

  • Public Transportation

    From Cliffs of Moher, take the Bus Eireann route 350 towards Ennis. Get off at Ennis Bus Station and transfer to a bus heading to Galway City (Route 51 or Route 52). Once in Galway, you can either walk or take a local bus (Route 404) towards Salthill. If walking, head south on Quay Street, then follow the signs to the promenade. The journey may take around 2 to 2.5 hours, including transfer times.
