Walking
If you are already in Mayo Abbey, you can reach Holy Well by walking along the R320 road. It is a walk of about 1 km. Follow the road signs towards Killeen, and Holy Well will be on your right.
Car
If traveling by car, start from Castlebar and head north on the N60 towards Claremorris. After approximately 10 km, take the exit onto the R320 towards Mayo Abbey. Continue on R320 for about 5 km until you reach Mayo Abbey. Follow the signs for Killeen, and after about 1 km, you will find Holy Well located on your right, next to a small parking area.
Public Transport
To reach Holy Well via public transport, take a bus from Galway to Castlebar. Bus services are operated by Bus Éireann. Once in Castlebar, take a local taxi to Mayo Abbey, which is approximately 12 km away. Taxis can be found at the bus station or booked via phone. The taxi ride should cost around €15-€20. Once in Mayo Abbey, follow the directions for cars to reach Holy Well.
