To reach Roundstone Bog via public transport, take a Bus Éireann bus from Galway City to Clifden. From Clifden, a taxi to Roundstone will cost approximately €20-€30 and take about 20 minutes. Alternatively, Bus Éireann route 432 provides a coastal service from Galway to An Cheathrú Rua, which passes through Roundstone. From Roundstone village, it is a short walk to the bog.

If driving from Clifden, take the R341 towards Roundstone. The drive is approximately 18 km (11 miles). From Galway, take the N59 west, then the R341 south to Roundstone. Parking is available near the bog area in Derrycunlagh.
