Car
Altamont Gardens is located near the village of Ballon, Co. Carlow, and is easily accessible by car. From Dublin/Waterford, exit the M9 at junction 5 for the N80 Rosslare. Continue along the N80 through Ballon and the N80/N81 junction. Turn left at the next crossroad junction, signposted for Altamont Gardens. From Carlow Town, follow the N80 through Ballon and continue as above. There is a car park on-site; a €2 fee applies.
Public Transport
While there is no direct public transportation to Altamont Gardens, you can take a bus to nearby towns such as Tullow or Ballon and then take a taxi to the gardens. Check local bus schedules for the most up-to-date information. From either Tullow or Ballon, a taxi to Altamont Gardens will cost approximately €10-€15.
