To reach Ballykinard by car, start from Letterkenny, a major town in County Donegal. Take the N56 road towards Dungloe, then follow signs for the R245 towards Rosnakill. Continue on the R245, and Ballykinard will be approximately a 10-minute drive from the center of Rosnakill. Look for local signage to guide you to the exact location. Parking is generally available along the roadside.

Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as services may be limited, especially on weekends. From Rosnakill, it is best to take a taxi to Ballykinard. A taxi from Ramelton to Rosnakill will cost approximately €15-€20.
