    Take Bus Éireann route 490 from Donegal Town to Glencolumbkille. From the bus stop in Glencolumbkille, you can walk to Clocha na hEireann (approximately 30 minutes) or take a local taxi to Dooey. A taxi from the village to Dooey will cost approximately €10-€15.

  • Car

    From Donegal Town, take the N56 west and then the R263 towards Killybegs. Continue to Glencolumbkille. From Glencolumbkille, follow the signs to Dooey Beach. Clocha na hEireann is located by the car park opposite the Glencolmcille Folk Village. Parking is available near the beach. Parking is free.
