If you are traveling by car, start from Letterkenny. Take the N56 road towards Dunfanaghy. Continue on N56 for approximately 40 km until you reach the junction for the R251. Turn left onto R251, following signs for Dunfanaghy. After about 10 km, you will reach the village of Dunfanaghy. Once in Dunfanaghy, follow the signs for Sheephaven Bay. Park at the designated parking area near the beach entrance. From the parking area, it is a short walk to the beach. Please note that parking may be limited, especially during peak tourist season.
