If you've arrived in Naran by public transport or are staying locally, you can walk to Portnoo View Point. From the center of Naran, head west on the R261 towards the coast. After about 1.5 km, turn right onto Unnamed Rd. Follow this road for a short distance, and you will find the Portnoo View Point on your left. The walk is approximately 20-30 minutes. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes. There are no costs associated with walking.

To reach Portnoo View Point using public transport, first take a bus from Donegal Town to Glenties. Bus services such as Bus Éireann operate this route. Check their website for schedules and fares. Car
If driving from Donegal Town, take the N15 road towards Killybegs. Continue on the N15 until you reach the junction with the N56. Take the N56 towards Glenties. After approximately 30 km, turn left onto the R261 towards Naran. Follow this road for about 8 km, then turn right onto Unnamed Rd. The Portnoo View Point will be on your left after a short distance. Parking is available nearby. There are no toll roads on this route. Parking is free.
