Today, the forest features walking trails dotted with intricately carved wooden sculptures by artist Gintas Poderys, adding an enchanting layer to the natural landscape.

Rossylongan Forest is located approximately 2.5km from Donegal Town centre. From the town centre, head towards Killybegs. Shortly before the Opel Garage and Holmes Service Station, turn left towards Donegal Town Rugby Club/Holmes Beach. Continue until you see a stone wall on your left, running alongside a housing development. Take the left turn immediately after the wall, and follow that road until you see the entrance to the estate. The walk from Donegal Town takes approximately 30-40 minutes.
