To reach Carbury Castle via public transport, take a bus from Dublin (Wellington Quay) to Carbury. Services depart hourly and the journey takes approximately 1 hour 31 minutes, costing around €3. From the bus stop in Carbury, the castle is within walking distance.

If driving from Dublin, take the N4 road towards Longford. Take exit 9 for the R402 towards Carbury. Continue on the R402 until you reach Carbury. Once in the village, follow the signs for Carbury Castle. There is limited parking available near the church. From the parking area, it's a short walk to the castle.
