Getting There

Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Naas. Head northeast on the N7 towards Dublin. Continue on the N7 for approximately 30 km until you reach the M50 interchange. Merge onto the M50 motorway heading north. After about 10 km, take the exit for the N4 towards the city center. Follow the N4 until you reach the junction for the R110, and take that exit. Continue on the R110, which will lead you directly into the city center. Once in the city center, follow signs for Dublin Castle or Dame Street. You will find the State Apartments located on Dame Street, close to Dublin Castle. There is parking available nearby, but be aware of parking restrictions in the city.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take a train from Naas to Dublin. Begin at the Naas train station and catch a train heading to Dublin Heuston Station. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Heuston Station, exit and walk to the nearby Luas tram stop, where you can catch the Red Line tram towards the city center. Get off at the Jervis stop. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to Dublin Castle. Head southeast on Abbey Street, then turn left onto Henry Street. Continue straight until you reach Dame Street, where you’ll find the entrance to the State Apartments.
