There is limited parking available on the side streets near the castle.

To reach Carbury Castle and Motte using public transport, take a bus from Kildare Town or Naas to the nearest town, Edenderry, which is roughly 10 km away. Once you arrive in Edenderry, you will need to take a taxi service to Carbury, as there are no direct public transport links to the castle. Taxis can be booked in advance or found at local taxi ranks. The taxi fare from Edenderry to Carbury is approximately €15-€20.
