Car
If you are traveling by car, you can reach Glencar Waterfall by following the N4 road. From Sligo, head east on the N4 and take the exit for the N16 towards Manorhamilton. Continue on the N16 until you reach the R280. Follow the R280 towards Glencar. The waterfall is located at Largandoon, Glencar, Co. Leitrim. There is a parking area near the waterfall, which is free of charge.
Public Transportation
For those using public transport, take a bus from Sligo to Manorhamilton. Bus Eireann operates services on this route. Once you arrive in Manorhamilton, you can take a taxi or arrange a local shuttle service to Glencar Waterfall, which is approximately 8 km away. Be sure to check the bus timetable ahead of your journey, as services may vary.
Walking
If you are already in the Glencar area and prefer walking, you can access Glencar Waterfall via the walking trails that lead from nearby scenic viewpoints.
