If you are driving, start from Limerick City center and head southeast on O'Connell St. Continue onto the R445, following signs for the N18. Merge onto the N18 and follow it for approximately 3 km. Take the exit toward M7/Naas/Limerick City East. Merge onto the M7 and continue for about 5 km. Take exit 29 toward Limerick/Ennis. Follow the signs for Lower Mallow St and continue until you reach Bridge St. The Scenic Route begins at the Sylvester O'Halloran Footbridge, located at the intersection of Bridge St and Prior's-Land. Parking may be available nearby, but be mindful of any parking fees that may apply.

To reach the Scenic Route using public transport, start at Limerick Bus Station, located in the city center. Walking

If you are already in the vicinity of Limerick's city center and prefer walking, head towards O'Connell St. From there, walk towards the River Shannon, and follow the riverbank until you reach Bridge St. The Sylvester O'Halloran Footbridge is located right at the intersection of Bridge St and Prior's-Land. This route is scenic and will take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace. Enjoy the views of the river and surrounding area along the way.
