Car
From Westport, take the N59 road towards Mulranny. Continue on N59 for about 17 km until you reach the junction that leads to the R335. Turn left onto R335 and follow the signs for Achill Island. Stay on R335 for approximately 10 km, then turn right onto the R319. Drive for about 5 km until you see the signs for Tully More Bay Beach. There is parking available near the beach.
Public Transportation
First, take a bus from Westport Bus Station to Achill Sound. Buses are operated by Bus Éireann, and you should check the schedule in advance as they may vary. Once you arrive at Achill Sound, you can take a local taxi or request a shuttle service to reach Tully More Bay Beach, as public transport does not go directly to the beach. Expect taxi fares to be around €10-€15 for the short trip from Achill Sound to the beach.
Walking
If you are staying nearby in Leckanvy or have taken a local taxi to Achill Sound, you can walk to Tully More Bay Beach from there. From the main road, follow the coastal pathway for approximately 2 km. The scenic route offers beautiful views of the bay and surrounding landscape. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and keep an eye on the weather.
