Walking
From Dingle town center, head southwest on Green Street towards the waterfront. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto the R559. Follow this road as it curves to the right and becomes the R550. Keep walking along the R550, passing by scenic views of the coastline and countryside. After about 3.5 kilometers, you'll come to a fork in the road. Take the left fork to stay on the R550. Walk for another 2 kilometers until you see the sign for Caherdaniel. The fort is located just a short walk away from this point.

From Dingle town center, walk to the bus stop located near the Dingle Marina. Take the Bus Eireann route towards Caherdaniel. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Caherdaniel stop, disembark and walk towards the fort, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the local signs directing you to Caherdaniel Stone Fort.

If you have access to a bicycle, rent one from a local shop in Dingle. Start from the town center and head southwest on Green Street. Cycle towards the R559 and follow the same route as for walking, enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way. The distance is approximately 6 kilometers, and you can expect to reach the fort in about 20-25 minutes, depending on your pace.
