Walking
Start your journey in the heart of Dingle at the Dingle Tourist Office, located on the main street. From there, head southwest along Green Street until you reach the junction with the N86. Turn left onto the N86 and walk for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You'll pass scenic views of Dingle Bay on your left as you walk along this road. After about 1.5 kilometers, you'll see a sign for 'Feaghmaan West' on your right. Turn onto this road, which is a smaller, winding lane. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the base of Geokaun Mountain. The trailhead for the hike will be marked, and from there you can begin your ascent to Geokaun for spectacular views.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Dingle. Start at the Dingle Bay Hotel, which is centrally located. Head towards the N86, cycling southwest along the main road. After about 1.5 kilometers, look for the sign for 'Feaghmaan West' and turn right onto the smaller road. Continue cycling on this road for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the trailhead for Geokaun Mountain. Make sure to wear a helmet and be cautious of traffic on the N86.
