Car
If you are traveling by car in The Skelligs, start your journey from the town of Portmagee. Drive south on the R565 for about 10 km until you reach the junction to Feaghmaan West. Follow the signs for Feaghmaan West, and then turn onto the Unnamed Road. Drive approximately 2 km on this road, and you will find parking areas near the viewing points of Fogher Cliffs. Please note that parking may be limited, and some areas may require a small fee.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Waterville to Portmagee. Once in Portmagee, you can either walk or hire a local taxi to take you to Fogher Cliffs. The taxi ride will take about 10-15 minutes. It is advisable to arrange the taxi in advance, as availability may vary. The fare should be around €10-€15 each way.
Walking
For those who enjoy hiking, you can walk to Fogher Cliffs from the parking area. There are well-marked trails that lead to the cliffs. The walk should take approximately 30-45 minutes. Make sure to wear sturdy shoes and be prepared for varying weather conditions, as the terrain can be rugged and steep in some areas.
