If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Donegal Bay. Head north on the N15 road towards Letterkenny. Continue on the N15 for about 22 kilometers until you reach the town of Letterkenny. Once in Letterkenny, follow the signs for the N56 towards Gweedore. After approximately 16 kilometers, you will see signs for Glenveagh National Park. Turn left onto the L2014 road, which will take you directly to the visitor center. There is a parking fee of €5 per vehicle at the visitor center. From the visitor center, you can take a shuttle bus to Glenveagh Castle, which costs €5 per person for a round trip.

For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Donegal Bay to Letterkenny. Bus companies such as Bus Éireann operate services along this route. From Letterkenny, you will need to take a taxi or check local shuttle services to reach Glenveagh National Park, as there are no direct public transport options available. The taxi fare may range from €20 to €30 depending on the exact location in Letterkenny and the time of day. Once you arrive at the visitor center, you can take the shuttle bus to Glenveagh Castle for an additional €5 per person for a round trip.
