If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Donegal and head northwest on the N15 road. Continue on the N15 for approximately 18 km until you reach the junction with the R263. Turn left onto the R263 and follow it for about 10 km. As you approach Teelin, you will see signs for Teelin Pier. Turn right onto Pier Road and continue until you reach the pier. There is free parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
For those using public transport, you can take a bus from Donegal Town to Teelin. Bus services such as Bus Éireann operate routes that connect these locations. Check the schedule for the latest timings as they can vary. Once you arrive at Teelin village, it's about a 15 to 20-minute walk to Teelin Pier. Follow the main road towards the coast, then turn left when you reach the water, and you'll see the pier ahead.
