Walking
From Drogheda Town Centre, head southwest on West Street towards the River Boyne. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto the R132 road (Dublin Road). Follow the R132 for about 2.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the M1. Turn right onto the M1 and continue for approximately 3 kilometers. At the next exit towards Dublin (N1), take the exit to merge onto the N1. Continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach Dublin. Once in Dublin, follow signs for the city center. Once you reach the city center, head towards Stoneybatter. Arbour Hill Cemetery is located at Arbour Hill, D07 YRRZ.
Bus
From Drogheda, walk to the Drogheda Bus Station located on the corner of Donore Road and the M1. Board a bus heading to Dublin City Centre (Bus Eireann operates regular services). After approximately 45 minutes, get off at Busaras (Bus Station in Dublin). From Busaras, walk to the nearest Luas tram stop (Abbey Street). Take the Luas tram (Red Line) towards Tallaght and get off at the Smithfield stop. From there, it’s a 10-minute walk to Arbour Hill Cemetery. Head northwest on Smithfield Square towards the North King Street, then turn left onto North King Street and follow it until you reach Arbour Hill.
Train
From Drogheda Train Station, take a train to Dublin Connolly Station. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once at Dublin Connolly, exit the station and walk to the nearest Luas tram stop (Abbey Street). Take the Luas tram (Red Line) towards Tallaght and get off at the Smithfield stop. From Smithfield, walk northwest on Smithfield Square towards North King Street, then turn left onto North King Street and continue until you reach Arbour Hill Cemetery.
