Walking
From the Drogheda Town Centre, head south on West Street towards the River Boyne. Cross the river using the Boyne Bridge. Once across, turn left onto the R132 and follow it northwest. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the N51. Turn right onto the N51 and follow the signs for Celbridge. After approximately 15 minutes of walking, you will pass the entrance to Castletown House on your left. The house is located in a large park area, so enter the grounds to reach the main entrance.
Public Transport
From Drogheda, walk to the nearest bus stop on the Dublin Road (N51). Board the Bus Éireann Route 100 to Celbridge. The journey will take around 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Celbridge stop, exit the bus and walk towards the Castletown House. Head southwest on the Main Street, then turn left on Castletown Road. Continue straight until you reach the entrance of Castletown House, which will be on your right.
