Once you arrive at Busaras (Dublin's central bus station), exit the bus and walk towards the Luas (tram) stop nearby.

At Busaras, board the Luas Red Line tram towards the Point Village. Get off at the Abbey Street stop (about 5 stops). From Abbey Street, walk towards O'Connell Bridge and cross the river. Continue straight on to Dame Street; Dublin Castle will be on your left.
