From Drogheda, head to the Drogheda Train Station which is located on the south side of the River Boyne. Take a train heading to Dublin Connolly Station. The trains run frequently, so check the schedule for the next available train. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes.

Once you arrive at Dublin Connolly Station, exit the station and head southwest towards the River Liffey. Cross the river via the O'Connell Bridge. Continue straight onto O'Connell Street, then turn left onto Abbey Street. Follow Abbey Street until you reach the intersection with Middle Abbey Street, where you will turn right. Continue on this road as it becomes Liffey Street and then turn left onto Dame Street. Dublin Castle will be on your right.
