Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the Drogheda Bus Station, located on the south side of the River Boyne. From the bus station, head east towards the River Boyne and cross the bridge. Once across the bridge, turn left and follow the riverbank path until you reach the main road, the N51. Turn right onto the N51 and continue walking straight for about 3 kilometers until you reach the junction with the R132. At the junction, take the left onto the R132 towards Stamullen. Walk along the R132 for approximately 1 kilometer, and you will see a sign for Four Knocks on your right. Follow the sign and walk up the lane towards the tomb.

  • Public Transport

    From Drogheda, walk to the nearby bus stop at the Drogheda Bus Station. Take the bus service to Stamullen, which is approximately a 15-20 minute ride. Once you arrive in Stamullen, disembark at the main village square. From there, head northeast on the R132 road for about 1 kilometer. Look for a sign indicating Four Knocks on your left. Follow the sign and walk up the lane towards the tomb.
