Bus
From Drogheda town center, walk to the nearest bus stop which is located on West Street. Look for the bus number 33 or 33X, which travels towards Dublin. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride. After approximately 30-40 minutes, you will arrive at the Howth village stop. From there, follow the signs to the Howth Harbour area, which is just a short walk away.
Train
Head to Drogheda Train Station located on the Dublin Road. Purchase a ticket for the DART service towards Howth. The train ride will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Howth Station, exit the station and turn left. Follow the road down towards the harbour area, which is about a 10-minute walk.
Walking
If you are already in Drogheda, you can opt for a longer walk to enjoy the scenery. Start from the town center and head towards the River Boyne. Follow the river path until you reach the Boyne Viaduct. From there, continue towards the DART station and follow the directions for the DART service to Howth as mentioned above.
