Getting There

Public Bus
From Drogheda, head to the Drogheda Bus Station located at the corner of Fair Street and the Dublin Road. Purchase a ticket for a bus heading to Dublin. The bus number 100 or 101 typically goes to Dublin. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Busaras (Dublin Bus Station), exit the bus and walk to the nearest bus stop for the Dublin Bus route 46A or 46B, which will take you towards Phoenix Park. Get off at the 'Phoenix Park' stop and walk a short distance to the Phoenix Park Visitor Centre.

Train
Walk to Drogheda Train Station, located on the south side of the River Boyne, at the end of West Street. Take a train heading towards Dublin Connolly Station. The train journey takes about 30 minutes. After arriving at Dublin Connolly, exit the station and head to the nearest bus stop. Catch the Dublin Bus route 46A or 46B towards Phoenix Park. Disembark at the 'Phoenix Park' stop and walk to the Phoenix Park Visitor Centre.

If you are already in Drogheda city center, you may prefer to explore the area on foot. From the town center, head towards the River Boyne and take the footbridge over the river. Continue along the riverside path towards the east, following the river until you reach the Boyne Viaduct. From there, head southwest towards the bus station to catch a bus to Dublin, or you can follow the train tracks to Drogheda Train Station to catch a train to Dublin.
