Bus
If you are near the city center, you can take Bus 25 or 26 from O'Connell Street. Board the bus and ask the driver to let you know when you reach the Phoenix Park entrance. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you get off the bus, walk towards the entrance of Phoenix Park, and you will see the Visitor Centre ahead.
Luas (Tram)
Take the Luas Green Line from St. Stephen's Green towards Broombridge. Disembark at the 'Dun Laoghaire' stop after approximately 15 minutes. From there, transfer to Bus 47 at the bus stop adjacent to the Luas station, which will take you directly to Phoenix Park. The bus ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the Phoenix Park entrance and walk towards the Visitor Centre.
Walking
If you are within a reasonable distance, walking to Phoenix Park can be a pleasant option. From the city center, head west along the River Liffey, crossing over at O'Connell Bridge. Continue on to Wellington Quay, then take a left on to the Quays. Follow the quays until you reach the entrance of Phoenix Park. The walk will take approximately 40-50 minutes, and you can enjoy various sights along the way.
Dublin Bikes
Dublin offers a bike-sharing scheme. Locate a nearby Dublin Bikes station (you can find these throughout the city) and rent a bike. Cycle west towards Phoenix Park; it’s about a 15-20 minute ride depending on traffic. There are bike lanes available, and you can lock your bike at one of the bike racks near the Visitor Centre.
