Getting There

• Bus

  From Drogheda, make your way to the Drogheda Bus Station located on the Dublin Road. Take the Express Bus Service to Dublin City Centre. The bus typically runs every 30 minutes. Stay on the bus until you reach the O'Connell Street stop in Dublin. From there, walk towards Middle Abbey Street. The Oval Bar is located at 78 Middle Abbey St, which is a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Head south on O'Connell Street, then turn left onto Abbey Street. Continue straight until you reach Middle Abbey Street, where you will find The Oval Bar on your right.

• Train

  Head to Drogheda Train Station, which is centrally located. Purchase a ticket for the next train heading to Dublin Connolly Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Dublin Connolly Station, exit the station and head towards the main road. Walk to the right along the main road until you reach O'Connell Street. From O'Connell Street, walk south to Abbey Street, then turn left onto Middle Abbey Street. The Oval Bar is located at 78 Middle Abbey St, just a short walk from where you turned.

• Walking

  If you are already in Drogheda town center, walk towards the Drogheda Bus Station and take a bus to Dublin, as described above. Alternatively, if you are feeling adventurous, you can walk to the bus station and take a 15-minute walk to the bus station before catching a bus. However, it is recommended to take public transport due to the distance to Dublin City Centre.
