If you're coming from Dublin's south side, take the DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) train to Pearse Station. Once you arrive at Pearse Station, exit the station and head north along Westland Row. Continue straight until you reach O'Connell Street, which should take about 10 minutes. The General Post Office is located at O'Connell Street Lower, directly ahead.

If you're near the LUAS tram line, board the Red Line tram towards The Point. Get off at the O'Connell/Abbey Street stop. Once you exit the tram, walk north on O'Connell Street for about 5 minutes. The General Post Office will be on your left, just before you reach the top of the street.

Dublin Bus services are frequent. Look for a bus that stops at O'Connell Street. Routes 10, 14, 15, 27, 29a, 31, 32, 41, and 123 all stop nearby. Once you get off the bus, walk towards the General Post Office, which is an iconic building and hard to miss. It is located at O'Connell Street Lower.
