Walking
From Drogheda town center, head southwest on West Street towards the railway station. Walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the Drogheda Train Station. Take a train from Drogheda Station to Dublin Pearse Station, which should take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Dublin Pearse Station, exit the station and head southwest on Pearse Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the River Liffey, then turn left onto the riverfront. Walk along the river until you reach O'Connell Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto O'Connell Street. After a few minutes, turn right onto Parnell Square and then take a left onto Gardiner Street. Continue on Gardiner Street until you reach the bus stop for the 46A or 66 bus. Take either bus towards Phoenix Park. Once you reach the Phoenix Park stop, follow the signs to the Wellington Monument, which will be a short walk away.
Bus
From Drogheda town center, head to the nearest bus stop (you can find one on West Street). Take the Bus Éireann route 100 towards Dublin. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the bus station in Dublin, walk towards the nearest Luas stop and take the Luas tram towards the Red Line. Get off at the 'Heuston' stop. From Heuston, you can walk to Phoenix Park, which is about a 15-minute walk. Follow the signs to the park entrance and once inside, look for the Wellington Monument.
Train and Walking
From Drogheda, make your way to the Drogheda Train Station. Board a train heading to Dublin Connolly Station, which should take around 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Connolly Station, exit and walk towards the Luas tram station. Take the Red Line towards Tallaght and get off at the 'Heuston' stop. From there, you can either walk to Phoenix Park (approximately 15 minutes) or take a bus (number 25 or 46A) towards Phoenix Park. Once you reach the park, follow the signs to the Wellington Monument.
