DART Train
To reach Dún Laoghaire Harbour from Dublin city center, head to the nearest DART station, which is usually Tara Street Station. Purchase a ticket for Dún Laoghaire. Board a southbound DART train (look for trains heading towards Bray or Greystones). The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Dún Laoghaire Station, exit the station and walk straight down the hill toward the coast. You will see signs for the harbour. It is about a 15-minute walk from the station to Dún Laoghaire Harbour.

From Dublin city center, you can take the Dublin Bus number 7 or 46A. Board the bus at any bus stop in the city center that serves these routes. Make sure to check the destination on the front of the bus to ensure it's going to Dún Laoghaire. The journey will take around 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Dún Laoghaire bus stop, follow the signs to the harbour, which is just a short walk down the road. Look for Harbour Road; the harbour will be visible as you approach the waterfront.

If you're already in Dún Laoghaire, you can easily walk to the harbour from anywhere in the town. If you're at the Dún Laoghaire Shopping Centre, exit the center and head toward the main street (George's Street). Turn right and walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the seafront. From there, you can follow the promenade to Dún Laoghaire Harbour, which is well-signposted.
