Getting There

  • DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit)

    If you're near any DART station, board a DART train heading towards Bray or Greystones. Disembark at the 'Grand Canal Dock' station. Upon exiting the station, turn left and walk along the quay until you reach Grand Canal Square, which is just a short 5-minute walk.

  • Bus

    You can take any bus that stops near Grand Canal Dock. Look for buses like the 7, 7A, 8, or 40. Ask the driver to notify you when you reach 'Grand Canal Square.' Once you get off, the square will be in sight, just a few meters ahead.

  • Walking

    If you're already in the city center, you can walk to Grand Canal Square. Start at O'Connell Street and head south towards the River Liffey. Cross the river using O'Connell Bridge. Once across, continue straight onto D'Olier Street, which turns into Westmoreland Street. Walk straight until you reach College Green, then turn left onto Suffolk Street. Continue until you reach Dawson Street, then turn right. Follow the road until you reach the canal. Once at the canal, turn left and follow it until you see Grand Canal Square on your right.

  • Luas (Tram)

    Board the Luas Green Line tram heading towards Broombridge. Get off at the 'Charlemont' stop. From there, walk towards the canal and turn left. Follow the canal path until you reach Grand Canal Square, which will be on your left after a 10-minute walk.
