Walking
If you are in the city center, start at O'Connell Street, which is a major thoroughfare. Walk south towards the River Liffey and cross at the O'Connell Bridge. Once across, continue straight onto D'Olier Street, which will lead you to College Green. Keep walking past Trinity College on your left until you reach Suffolk Street. Turn left onto Suffolk Street and continue walking until you reach the junction with Grafton Street. Turn right onto Grafton Street and continue straight until you reach St. Stephen's Green. Walk through the park towards the southern exit, and then take a left onto Harcourt Street. Follow Harcourt Street until you reach the junction with the Grand Canal. Turn right; Grand Canal Square will be on your left.

If you prefer to take public transport, locate the nearest LUAS tram stop. Depending on your location, you might take the Red Line towards The Point or the Green Line towards Broombridge. If you are on the Red Line, get off at the 'George's Dock' stop. If you're on the Green Line, get off at 'Dawson Street' and walk towards St. Stephen's Green as described above. From there, follow the walking directions to Grand Canal Square as outlined previously.
