From Dublin city center, head to O'Connell Street and catch the Dublin Bus route 42 towards 'Swords'. Get off at the 'Clontarf Road' stop, which is close to the coast. From there, walk towards the coast, and follow the path along the beach until you reach the entrance to North Bull Island.

Take the DART train from any central Dublin station (like Pearse or Tara Street) towards 'Howth' or 'Malahide'. Get off at 'Clontarf Road' station. From the station, walk east towards the coast and follow the pathway to North Bull Island. The scenic route along the coast is very pleasant.
